Climate and Hazard Mitigation Planning

Speakers from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will describe new requirements to include climate change in Hazard Mitigation Plans (HMP). Participants will learn about available resources (including tools, technical assistance, and funding opportunities) and best practices for developing an HMP.
